Here is an update to keep everyone up to date with what is keeping YOUR HOA busy.
First, please join me in welcoming Ryan Scott to the HOA Board. He will complete the term of Leo James who had to step down.
Please continue to check our website at www.wildwoodhills.org to become better informed about our community. All our meeting minutes, agendas, governing documents and news in the community are available including the current directory…and more. We are using the website to inform the neighborhood versus pushing emails into your inbox. Please log in to the website and get aquainted with all the community information. As we build out the site we could use help from other community members in maintaining and adding content. If you have an interest please drop a note to support@wildwoodhills.org.
Compliance with our governing documents has been raised as an issue. The HOA and ARC are tasked with ensuring all homes are following these governing documents. While we do not search for issues, when made aware by members of the community, we feel it is our responsibility to address specific complaints. Our first step is to ask a complainant to speak with their neighbor to resolve an issue. Barring that, the Board will first speak to the neighbor and then follow-up with a letter if it is necessary. Maintaining open dialogue with our neighbors can usually resolve most issues. Please recognize that a call or conversation from a Board member is in response to a complaint from some of your neighbors. Your assistance is appreciated.
As some of our outstanding young people finish their school year, there are bound to be parties in the neighborhood. It is the homeowners responsibility to inform their neighbors of the potential noise and parking concerns. Please ensure your neighbors have a point of contact if the festivities need additional supervision.
Many have heard of the effort to have Fairfax County take over trash management in the future. Stay informed here: Fairfax County Trash Collection Vision. Also, Pat Herrity talks about it and other things here: Pat Herrity May Update
If you didn’t know, there are free summer concerts in Burke Lake Park starting 25 June at 7 pm and every Wednesday through August (or at least part of it). Take your lawn chairs and a cooler and enjoy the music right next door. In the past they sold beer and food. Take your own bug repellant.
Finally, be mindful of more children on our streets during the summer. Slow down. Dog walkers, either you or your dog needs to pick up and take home anything one of you drops.

Thanks so much for the message. We are one of those families celebrating graduation this summer with a home party. Specifically, 13 June from 6-10. Thank you for your understanding as we celebrate Xavier’s big accomplishment.
